Sephora VIB Rouge Sale 20% Off!

So every year around the holidays Sephora has a 20% off sale for their VIB and & VIBROUGE members. The sale lasts 3 days and it's off all of your in store and online purchases!! Needless to say, I go a little crazy and stock up on stuff I love and also take the opportunity to try new fun things! Here are a few of the things I purchased and I also included some gifts that I recommending snagging while the sale lasts! Enjoy guys and happy shopping !!
I have always wanted to try this foundation but my skin is SO extremely sensitive and prone to breakouts that trying a new foundation always scares me. However, I have heard nothing but good things about this one and I was getting it on sale so I thought I would give it a go! I got the shade 113 which is supposed to be equivalent to MAC NC20 which is the color I am since its winter and I am butt white pale. I can't wait to try it out!
Recently I have been on a concealer frenzy and wanting to try out every single one imaginable. My favorite concealer at the moment is NYX HD Concealer but I have been wanting to switch it up so I thought I would take advantage of having 20% and try a few different ones. I got this one in the color "light" because the "fair" color was way too pink for me. I have heard great things so far about this concealer and my mom uses it and loves it so I thought why not try it out. The only downside to this concealer is there are only 6 colors and I wish they had a wider color variety.
I got this concealer in two colors because I wasn't sure which one would be the best. I got shade 3 "fondant" and shade 8 "palmier." I like my concealer to be like a shade lighter than my foundation but with a yellow undertone to help brighten up my under eye area. I find that concealers with a pink undertones or ones that are super white make under my eyes look ashy and gray. I think that shade 3 might be a little too light and not "yellow" enough if that makes sense. Shade 8 is only a little bit darker but it has more of a yellow undertone and not so white like shade 3. Sometimes too light of a concealer can make you look ashy under your eyes rather than bright and awake. Pretty sure I will be returning shade "3" and keeping shade "8."
I got this one just for spot treatment when I am wearing makeup because it is a blemish fighting concealer. As I read some of the reviews though people were saying that they use it as a night treatment as well so I figured it could be a nice two in one treatment! This concealer has 3% sulfur in it which helps fight pimples and helps cover them up at the same time! Seems like a win win situation to me. Can't wait to see how this bad boy works out.
OMG NO WORDS!!! Get off the computer and go buy this now, like now. This color is the most amazing color and can be worn so many different ways. It can be worn as a brow bone highlight, inner eye corner highlight, even a cheek highlight and it is just too amazing for words. This eyeshadow is so creamy and pigmented and just flat out bomb. It is the perfect pearl color and has the most amazing sheen I can't get enough of it, so glad I picked this up. So far this is one of my favorite things I purchased! Must have in my opinion. All of the colors are amazing I might be going back to get more!
I just needed a new beauty blender and wanted to try out the black since I typically always get the pink one. I like the black because it doesn't look as dirty as the pink one typically does. They both work exactly the same and are both the best for applying foundation.
Nothings cleans my beauty blender like this magical cleaner does. It's not even just amazing for my beauty blender but for spot cleaning my other brushes as well. It cleans my beauty blender spotless without stripping its color or making it rip like many other cleaners do. Hands down the best beauty blender cleaner ever, love this way more than the liquid one. You for sure need to go grab this if you use a beauty blender. Trust me!
Hands down best brow pencil of life, been using this pencil for over 2 years now and have yet to find something better. The taupe color is perfect for my light blonde hair and the brow pencil is just too perfect for words, just decided to stock up on another one because of the sale. If you have never tried this go get it now, it's a MUST HAVE PEOPLE!!
Another item I decided to stock up on. This is my go to mascara, it never lets me down. I have been using this for years and always end up going back to it when I try something different. The best mascara around and I have tried them ALL!!
Another oldie but goodie that I needed to stock up on. Been using this for years as well and it is the best makeup setting spray ever. It helps my makeup stay all day but also is cooling and hydrating at the same time. Just simply THE BEST!
Typically I use an acne cleanser every night when I wash my face but with winter coming around the corner it is just a little too drying so I wanted to try a cleanser that is PH Balanced so it won't strip my skin, but one that will still clean my skin and do the job. I have heard many good things about this cleanser, it is simple and non-drying and helps balance your natural oil production. I am excited to try this, lets just hope it doesn't break me out haha.
One of my favorite beauty youtubers NikkieTutorials swears by this face wash and her skin is too perfect for words. With the colder weather I have wanting to try out these oil cleansers and see what they are all about. Typically I stay away from anything with oil in it and use only oil-free, but I decided this would be the perfect time to test these oil cleansers out. We will see how it goes!
Like I said I have been wanting to test out oil cleansers and little kits like these are always a great way to test things out. I like Joise Marans regular Argan Oil during the colder months and thought I might as well give this little kit a go and see how I like the rest of her products. Can't wait to test out this little 3 step regimen.
Recently my skin has never been worse in my life. Not sure if it has been due to stress, bad diet, not drinking enough water (even though I do), or my skin just flat out hating me out of nowhere but it has been a huge insecurity of mine recently. I have never had "bad skin" or acne, maybe the occasional pimple or two but never acne. My skin recently has just been so upset so I thought I would use my 20% to my advantage and test this kit out. I love Peter Thomas Roth products, his products have always worked for my skin, they have never let me down so I thought this kit would be perfect and hopefully save my skin! Fingers crossed!
Recently Sephora's had big hype around Korean skincare and this masks is part of the Korean skincare items in the Hot Now section. I love masks, especially black head clearing ones so I thought why not give this one a go. The reviews online are awesome and I love the two step system. I can't wait to test this one out and let you guys know how it worked!
Another favorite that I decided to stock up on for the sale. This is my favorite moisturizer for day time and for night time when I am looking for something just light weight. I have been using this moisturizer for years and it is perfect. It is hydrating enough to do the job but not over hydrating to where it clogs my pores. It is oil free and non comedognic so it doesn't irritate my skin or break me out. It is the perfect basic moisturizer! I love it!
When I need a little heavier of a moisturizer than my First Aid Beauty one I have been using this one. I got a sample at first for my 100 point perks about a month ago and i have liked it so I decided to get the little one especially since it was going to be on sale I mean why not?! So far so good. It is too heavy for me to use everyday but once it a while when I need a little bit more hydration this does the job.
I have heard nothing but great things about all of the items in this set and wanted to try them out for a while so I figured why not try them all out since they're in a little set. I figured I would test it out myself and see how well it lives up to all the hype! It comes with a night treatment, moisturizer and a vitamin c serum. We will set how it goes!
I love this spray. I tried it out a few months ago when my face was feeling extra dry and I loved it. It is the perfect pick me up for when you are feeing a little dry throughout the day or for when you are going to bed and feeling like you need a little extra moisture but you don't want to over due it and clog your pores with heavy creams. I thought this would be a joke a first like its spray water.... is this serious? Might as well just splash water on my face but no it really works! It actually does help give a little extra moisture kick to my face and it is so hydrating and refreshing when you spray it on your face! I love it, i keep one in my purse and one at home! I would definitely recommend trying it out!
Lastly, I got two 100 point perks that I am excited to try out! Rarely do I like any of the 100 point perks but this time I was surprised when I liked a few of them! If they are still up for grabs I would definitely recommend grabbing them as your point perks! Then if you add that additional 20% I mean you can't beat that. Whether you get this for yourself or someone else it is a great gift and a great deal. Grab this before its gone!!
Tarte always has the best holiday gifts and sets, they never let me down. I mean how cute is this eyelash curler? I can't even handle how cute it is, I need it in my life! Perfect for a little stocking stuffer for someone or just for yourself! You get a deluxe size Lights, camera, flashes statement mascara and the cutest eyelash curler that exists.
Stila liquid lipsticks are some of the best ones out there. If you have always been wanting to try them then go get this for yourself, it is such a steal!!! If you have a friend that loves liquid lipsticks this set is perfect for them as a gift because there is a huge color variety. The color variety is awesome, you have nudes, pinks, purples and reds. $40 seems a bit pricey but these go for $24 a piece so getting 6 for $40 or with the discount $32 I mean you cant beat that. You get 6 colors, Caramello, Patina, Aria, Como, Chianti, Fiery.
Anastasia's palettes never let you down. I have yet to come across one of them that I have been disappointed from. They are always amazing and the price point is always unbeatable for the amount of shadows you get and for the quality of the shadows. You get 14 amazing eyeshadows that are so creamy and pigmented and you get a dual ended brush, I mean holy steal. Oh and lets not forget that you can get that 20% on top of that... hello win. Like all Anastasia palettes they're limited edition so go grab this before it sells out!!! Great gift!
So I know that $69 seems a tad pricey but can we just talk about all of the stuff that you get in this palette? You get the contour colors from their contour kit "Paloma," Laguna bronzer, and 4 blushes. Now nars bronzer run for $38 alone and their contour kit in Paloma runs for $40 alone, and their blushes are $30 a pop. Even though they are not full size, it is such a steal!!! With the 20% on top of that I mean this is a must have in my opinion. The variety of blush colors are awesome and the size of the bronzer is close to full size. Go grab this bad boy since it is imited edition as well!!!!
This palette is all around amazing. YES it is smaller than it appears but it is still amazing. I have the blush palette which has 3 blushes in it and it ran me $56. The blushes in my palette are a TAD bigger than they are in this palette but you get so much variety in this palette. If I didn't already have every color in this palette I would've purchased this the second that it went on sale. The hourglass blushes and bronzer and all of their powders are hands down my favorite. They're so creamy, blendable and natural looking. The palette sizes are 0.049 oz x 6. If you have always wanted to try the hourglass powders then this is PERFECT for you. You get to try the regular powders, the blushes and the bronzer. I have nothing negative to say about any of these powders, they are all perfection and this would be the one palette that I would say is a MUST HAVE!
If someone you know loves beauty blenders then this is the perfect gift for them. You get two beauty blenders, a mini beauty blender and a Rea.activate rehydrator and makeup-refinishing spray (mini size) for on the go for $40. Each beauty blender is $20 each is you are basically getting the reactive spray and mini beauty blender for free. This is just an awesome gift and you can never have too many beauty blenders I mean lets be serious here.
Not too much to say about this besides go buy it. I bought this before the VIBROUGE sale because I needed it right when it came out and couldn't wait. TOTALLY worth $34 and if you get a discount I mean there is no question that you need this in your life. You get Pearl (white color), Champagne pop (champagne color), and Blushed Copper (last one) which I love to wear as a blush. This palette is awesome and a must have for everyone. Just go get it, trust me.
