Get Your Strobing On

Everyone who loves makeup knows about the "strobing" trend that has been all over Youtube and Instagram. It's pretty much a fancy word for highlighting the you know what out of your face. I love a good highlighter, it is probably one of my favorite makeup items in my collection. Nothing is better than a nice glow on your face, especially when you have dry skin like myself.
Recently Anastasia Beverly Hills came out with three brand new highlighters retailing for $28 each, they are sold exclusively at Macy's right now and will soon be available on Anastasia's website as well. I was so excited to get my hands on the color I wanted which was "So Hollywood." It is a pale gold color with the most amazing sheen, not glitter just pure JLo glow! It is the most beautiful highlighter! Here is a look at the new Anastasia Beverly Hills highlighter in the shade So Hollywood.
I wanted to show three of my favorite highlighters next to each other so you could see how different the colors are from one another. The first picture is taken in artifical lighting, the second picture is natural lighting. Even though they are all a gorgeous bronzy, champagne gold, they all have different undertones. Starting from left to right, the first one is Laura Geller "Gilded Honey," next is Becca Cosmetics "Champagne Pop," and last one is Anastasia Beverly Hills "So Hollywood."
